We are proud to announce that Nakheel Community Management and Nakheel Sales Office have been awarded three international certifications – two WELL Health-Safety ratings and one from the British Standards Institute (BSI) Kite Mark.

WELL Health-Safety Rating

The WELL Health-Safety rating confirms that evidence-based measures have been adopted and verified to maintain the health, safety and wellbeing of everyone entering a building or space. This includes strategies to keep spaces clean and sanitised, preparation for emergencies and assessing and maintaining air and water quality.

Nakheel Sales Office receives WELL Health-Safety Rating
 

This year, the Nakheel Sales Office has been recognised by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) for winning the WELL Health-Safety Rating. The Nakheel Sales Office scored exceptionally well across the various criteria, which included; cleaning and sanitisation procedures, emergency preparedness programmes, health services resources, air and water quality management and stakeholder engagement.

The WELL Health-Safety Rating was awarded to all 7 buildings at Nakheel Sales Office, and four floors of offices at the Nakheel Galleries office building.

Second year running for Nakheel Community Management 

For the second year in a row, Nakheel Community Management (NCM) has been awarded the WELL Health-Safety Rating for Facility Operations and Management for all 365 of their buildings by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). In 2022, NCM were the first community management company to receive this recognition, for all of their buildings.

BSI Kite Mark 

Nakheel Community Management (NCM) has been awarded the BSI Kite Mark Certification to all communities within Zone 1 of Palm Jumeirah. The BSI Kite Mark Certification is a global standard of excellence that symbolises quality, safety, and trust.

The Award for Zone 1 Palm Jumeirah Communities is in recognition of “Smart & Sustainable Communities”, as per the BSI Kite Mark certification which encompasses the requirements of ISO 37101:2016 and ISO 37106:2021 standards. 

NCM is the first organisation in the UAE to receive this award and additionally, the Zone 1 Palm Jumeirah Communities are the first live communities in the region to receive this award, which is a huge accolade for the NCM team.

These are amazing achievements to celebrate, as they are indicative that we are getting closer to Nakheel’s long-term sustainability goals, as well as ensuring the most optimal work environment for our employees.
