Welcome to the first Beats newsletter of 2023. It feels like yesterday we were coming into the new year, with new targets, objectives and exciting initiatives being launched – and now here we are, with quarter one just behind us.

I know that you have achieved many successes already, and am excited to see this issue is full of innovative projects and evidence based insights which will help shape the business. There are also some highlights from the fun we have had in the first quarter – from those of you who attended the Dubai World Cup, where we were sponsors of the G1 Dubai Golden Shaheen race, to the staff party where we celebrated to the sound of happiness.

I know that you are all working hard, and I would like to emphasise again how proud I am of the Nakheel family and seeing the level of commitment demonstrated, and how everyone is exemplifying and living up to our purpose of ‘building happiness and prosperity’.

During the Holy month of Ramadan, I hope that you get to spend a little more time with your families and loved ones, as well as have time to reflect on the achievements you have already contributed to at Nakheel.
