TOGETHER, WE HAVE MADE NAKHEEL A GREAT PLACE TO WORK

Our people are the heart of our business, and the last quarter has been an important and eventful one. Nakheel has been recognised as a Great Place to Work-Certified company for 2022/2023 by the global research and consulting firm, Great Place to Work® Middle East.

The certification is based on your direct feedback in the VOICE survey, which revealed high levels of employee satisfaction, happiness and engagement across the company. Nakheel has demonstrated that it has a workplace culture of inclusivity, support and understanding, and we remind you to continue offering us your feedback. We are one team working towards the same goals, and are committed to ensuring that Nakheel will always be considered a Great Place to Work.

The events, online sessions and training workshops of the Inspire Calendar, has played a role in driving engagement. The last few months have been packed with health and wellness initiatives to enhance your wellbeing. These included many activities around Pinktober and Movember, so thank you for attending! 

​

In addition, we have been working towards deeply embedding our new brand purpose and brand values in the organisation so that they are present at every touchpoint of the employee experience and that everyone is able to truly ‘live’ these values every day. 

 

As part of the new company culture, all our employees are discovering the behaviours and embracing the Nakheel values in awareness sessions where individuals from different departments and Nakheel businesses come together at the ‘Nakheel Value Sessions’ workshops.

​

These workshops aim to communicate our brand values to all employees, with attendees learning through group discussions, case studies, scenario training and team activities. They are being held at multiple locations and across all levels of the organisation, with more 700 colleagues attending the sessions and the aim to train all employees soon.

Once complete, these workshops will ensure that we all understand our roles in implementing the brand values and the brand purpose in everything we do, how we work and communicate with each other and our external partners.

The workshops will also cover the behaviours and competencies that demonstrate the Nakheel values in all aspects of employee interactions, across teams, departments, and the organisation as a whole.

​

In addition, around 60 members of the top management including the BU Chiefs, Senior Directors, and Directors, who role-model these values are attending the Nakheel Values Awareness Leadership Event, with an intent to feel connected with the values and be aligned with Nakheel’s strategic direction involving activities that drive the message of “Living the Values”, enabling them to extend ongoing support and coaching to their teams.

​

So, if you see large canvases around the office with handprints, this is symbolic of the commitment that those who have attended the training have made towards embedding and living our values in every aspect of our journey at Nakheel!

 

Exciting new activities and workshops have been planned for 2023 to bring people together. More information will be shared in upcoming Inspire emails.
