We are almost at the end of 2023, and what an incredible year it has been - with awards, achievements, sales launches, project milestones, new initiatives and more, we have had some of our busiest time yet at Nakheel.

We achieved a number of record sales launches of some of our most prestigious and strategic developments so far this year. This has included the first six fronds of Palm Jebel Ali, which is not only important for Nakheel, it contributes to the future vision of Dubai, aligning with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan and the D33 economic agenda. 

This is not the only initiative which contributes significantly to the future of our emirate. We recently signed an agreement with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), which will enable the urban infrastructure of Dubai Islands to support the process of transportation and mobility in the emirate.  

We have also achieved a first in our journey to excellence in project delivery, where for the first time, we have had zero snags across almost all of the homes we have handed over in District One Residences. This is an incredible accolade and shows how we are delivering against the promises that we have made to our customers. 

Our Assets team have been busy running campaigns, designed to increase the number of visitors to our destinations across Dubai, as well as increasing awareness and creating engaging experiences across our malls.

This newsletter can only touch on some of the best practises, initiatives and projects which are being worked on and implemented everyday across the company. I can but request that you continue to deliver, working in teams to ensure you are supported and also the workload is balanced. I thank you all in advance for this.

As we get to the end of the year, I hope you all have the opportunity to take some time to spend with your families and loved ones over the festive period, relax, recuperate and I look forward to seeing you in 2024.
