Welcome to the second Beats newsletter of 2023. We are more than halfway through the year and so much has been achieved by everyone, with these newsletters being packed full of the great accolades and updates made by you all, across the company.

One of the highlights of the year was undoubtedly when His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai revealed the new futuristic Palm Jebel Ali masterplan. This was a humbling moment, as well as a source of great pride to experience the inauguration of the project, knowing that we all, collectively have been entrusted with delivering His Highness’s vision for Dubai’s future. This is a great responsibility which we must all embrace and give our all.

We are also now officially a company of winners! So far this year, as a company we have won 11 awards, from just two awarding bodies. This is an incredible achievement and I know we are in the process of submitting for more awards and am looking forward to seeing which department or vertical will win next!

That’s not all – this message would be as long as the newsletter if I highlighted every achievement within it. Please read on to find out what your colleagues are working on across the company, and learn from their best practise, or get involved where you can.

Lastly, I would like to sign off by saying thank you for all your hard work in the first half of the year. I know everyone has been dedicated to giving their very best to Nakheel and all the projects they work on, and this is indeed a source of pride for me. I hope you all have your summer vacations booked, and can soon spend some time with your families and loved ones, having a well-deserved break.
